Lobo Men’s Basketball Team Moves On in Las Vegas.
It was close against Air Force in the quarterfinal round at the Mountain West Conference Championship. Not much to talk about here except that they need to player better!
Lobos Win Mountain West Conference Championship.
Last night during Senior night, Roman Martinez, the only senior on the New Mexico Lobos basketball team was honored after the Lobos defeated TCU. The win gave New Mexico the Mountain West Conference Championship which was sweet but the star of the show was Martinez who over the years became the fan’s favorite Lobo.

The Lobo men’s basketball team returned home from Utah Sunday afternoon to be mobbed by hundreds of fans at the Airport. Pictured is Lobo guard Dairese Gary who was one of the heroes in the victory over BYU. Players had to be escorted by police because of the multitude demanding autographs and pictures.
A win is a win.
The Lobos were suppose to destroy Air Force at Pit yesterday but found themselves trailing by a couple of points with a few seconds left to play. The refs were not giving Steve Alford’s team any love with many calls that described as absurd.
