Sunday afternoon called for going to Albuquerque’s South Valley to photograph the Dia de los Muertos parade.  It is an awesome event full of surprises and wonderful faces to photograph.  Thanks to all who allowed to be photograph.  The first four frames were shot using a medium format camera, the rest are digital.

Last week during a family trip through Utah I visited some of my favorite places in the U.S including Monument Valley and the Big Crater in Arizona just off I-40.   I shot these two photos with my Canon G9 using the stich panoramic function. Not too bad I guess for a point and shoot camera.

The Virgen de Guadalupe day was an event I went to shoot for myself. I mixed digital images and medium format black and white still to make a Soundlslide project. The squarish images were shot on a Hasselblad Kodak Tri-X 320 speed film and scanned on a Nikon Super Coolscan 9000.
